Read to know the upcoming CLIMAX of Hindi serial Lockdown Ki Love Story before going off-air tonight
MUMBAI: Lockdown Ki Love Story starring Mohit Malik and Sana Sana Sayyad is bidding adieu to it's viewers today, with Kinshuk Mahajan and Shiny Doshi starrer Pandya Store to replace former's slot.
Yesterday, the entire team shot for the last day of the shoot on the sets in Naigaon. However, the show's main lead Mohit Malik was not a part of it.
Mohit, who was essaying the role of Dhruv in the show, contracted Coronavirus last week. Post-that, he went under self-isolation and since then the concern was how will the makers end the show without his presence.
However, a reliable source informs us, "The cast and crew had already shot for their last day today on the sets of Naigaon. Though Mohit couldn't come for the shoot as he is still in his quarantine period. To complete Mohit's scenes, dupe was arranged and with the help of his previous shots they have shot for the show's climax.".
Mohit had informed the sad news of him testing positive for COVID-19 on social media. He had posted, "Yesterday, I caught fever and our first impulse was to get a Covid test done, which has come out positive. Addite is fortunately safe, but we are both isolated and I have quarantined myself. I request all those who were in touch with me for the past few days to exercise caution and take the necessary tests if any symptoms show or even otherwise, as a safety measure. Let’s pray and hope that we get over this rough tide, not just us, but whoever is going through this and let us hope to start living again in a safe and secure environment.”.

Later show's producer Rashmi Sharma had also released a statement saying, "Actor Mohit Malik who is an integral part of the show Lockdown Ki Love Story has tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, he received medical help and quarantined himself. Immediately thereupon the entire cast and crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. Currently, the artist is receiving medical attention and under home quarantine. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”.
The show which premiered on 31st August last year was shifted to a late-night slot at 11 pm after it's TRPs dropped.
