Remix to dance to new time slot!

There's a spot of bad news for all loyal Remix fans. Hey bhaggu! Star One has decided to chop the Shrishti Arya produced daily one hour show by half from next week. D-uh? Does that mean the motley gang of Anvesha, Yuvi and company is on its way out? Not really. Remix has just been given a time slot of 8:00 to 8:30 pm. Says Shrishti Arya, "This schedule has been planned by the channel, it's their decision. They told me that the serial has to be cut down to half an hour, so I followed it."
They told me that the serial has to be cut down to half an hour, so I followed it." For a show that deals with so many multi faceted characters, will half an hour be enough to tell the story? "We had basically started off with an hour, because Remix has so many characters, and they had to be introduced. Now I think the viewers have caught on well with all the characters and their reel lifestyles, so cutting down on the time won't be a loss," adds Shrishti. Shweta Gulati, who plays princess- like teenager Tia on the show says, "It won't make a major difference to us. Yes it's definitely a chillded out time now, as it won't be as hectic as earlier. As of now, we will be shooting only 10 to 15 days a month so we have time for many things which we couldn't do earlier. And I am sure parents will be more than happy, as their children will study more and devote less time to Remix!", she laughs as an afterthought. Remix star buds were bound by a contract wherein they couldn't do other shows, so the new time slot doesn't bring about any new changes in the contract, but they are open to commercials and shows. Priya Wal aka Anvesha is very happy about this decision. " It is going to be a lot more easier. We have more time for ourselves now. As I am very passionate about tennis, i'll catch up on that. I have got offers for commercials, but I am very choosy about the kind of roles I do. So let's see what is exciting enough." Vinay Jain, who plays Sumit Ahuja says, "Now it's going to be shorter and more compact. I think they had come up with an amazing concept of one hour daily soap and a lot of hard work went into shaping it. It was tremendous. It won't make much difference." Will it affect his track in the serial? "No, not at all, more than the track of parents, Sumit Ahuja and Sonia Ray have some chemistry going on. So they won't sacrifice that." Will Remix's remixed timings make a difference to the viewer? You tell us.
