Ripudaman Handa turns restaurateur with Macchiato

Dreams do come true!!! And Ripudaman Handa will tell you more about it. Chef extraordinaire, Ripu, as he is lovingly called, dashed into popularity winning the title of MasterChef India season 3. Further, he spread his wings of talent and participated with his better half, Shivangi Verma, in celeb dance reality show Nach Baliye. Lately, he was seen in the show Snack Attack- Firangi Twist on Zee Khana Khazana. And boy o boy, the ambitious lad loves adding one feather after another in his bravura cap. Yes, Ripu is all set to become a restaurateur with the launch of Italian restaurant Macchiato in Vashi, Mumbai. Sharing more details the handsome chef says, “This has been my dream all along and finally I could manage to get things sorted. I will have a dear friend, Chef Manoj Rai, as partner who is also an hotelier in Delhi. We will soon open the gates for the public.” When asked about the restaurant Ripu quips, “Macchiato is a finest casual dining café that will serve true Italian food and wine. It will have a very rusty appeal to it and will remind people of Italy of the 60’s. Preparations are on and I am looking forward to the launch.
