MUMBAI: Monisha Sarabhai from ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ has been people's since eternity. While viewers still associate actress Rupali Ganguly with Monisha from the popular comedy show, it looks like she has incorporated her character in real life, too. “I am like Monisha Sarabhai in real life. I like laughing and having fun all the time, and I make sure people around me have fun, too. I like watching lots of television when I have time on my hands. Family for me is my priority and nothing replaces them for me,” she said. 

 

Rupali, who is currently seen in the show ‘Anupamaa’, also spoke about her love for stray animals. She shared, “What I’m absolutely addicted to is loving animals on the streets. I love hugging stray dogs and feeding them. I like to meet the stray animals near my house and also in filmcity (Mumbai) where I shoot for the show. And finally,  I would say that I got my due as an actor through ‘Anupamaa’.”

In ‘Anupamaa’, the actress is seen playing the role of Anupama Shah, and the audience has been appreciating her for the portrayal of this character. In an earlier conversation with us, Rupali spoke about how she doesn’t relate to the current track of the show in real life where her character is cheated by her husband. She said, “My husband would never cheat on me. I can’t compare the track on my show with my own life.” 

 

Well, we couldn't agree more with Rupali Ganguly as we too can never get over Monisha Sarabhai!
