MUMBAI: Rupali Ganguly took everyone by surprise a few weeks back when she attended a press conference conducted by the political party BJP. She expressed her support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP government and wished that the party excels in every election.

At that time, many speculated that Rupali had joined BJP and would soon contest elections to begin her political career. However, it was later revealed that Rupali attended the press conference merely to show her support for BJP and currently has no plans to enter politics. Recently, Rupali opened up about the possibilities of her entering politics, and it seems it's a possibility.

In an interview with ABP, Rupali Ganguly stated that she is too much of an amateur to start a career in politics. She feels that she needs to accomplish substantial work and gain a deeper understanding before venturing into politics. She also mentioned that if she ever ventures into politics, she would want to do so by earning her place and not solely because she is a famous celebrity. Rupali emphasized that she first wants to work enough so that if she contests elections tomorrow, it will be purely based on her merit as a politician.

Talking about the upcoming episode of Rupali's TV show Anupamaa, you will see how Kinjal informs Toshu that she has been promoted and received a pay hike. Toshu criticizes her for not supporting him financially and claims that it's the reason he is still lagging behind in life. He then declares his ambition to become so successful that he will break both Kinjal's and his mother's ego. He states his determination to have his own restaurant one day, right in front of Spice N Chutney.
