MUMBAI: Actress Rupali Ganguly, popularly known for her iconic portrayal of Anupamaa, has always been known for her unfiltered opinions and fearless nature. In times of national crisis, the actress has repeatedly shown that her patriotism goes far beyond the screen. As tensions between India and Pakistan have intensified, Rupali has emerged as one of the few voices from the entertainment industry boldly standing up for the nation and the armed forces.

Recently, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan sparked controversy by calling Operation Sindoor, a strategic Indian military operation, “shameful.” Reacting strongly, Rupali Ganguly didn’t hold back. She clapped back, stating, “You working in Indian films was also ‘shameful’ for us.” Her unapologetic reply garnered massive support across social media, where fans and fellow Indians lauded her courage. In a follow-up statement, Rupali made it clear that unfollowing her won’t bring any change to their own country, sending out a strong message about where her loyalty lies.

As international support for India pours in from various nations condemning terrorism, a few countries like Turkey have taken a controversial stance by siding with Pakistan. In response, Rupali once again used her platform to raise her voice. With over a million followers backing her, she shared a powerful Instagram story urging Indians to stop visiting Turkey.

“Can we please cancel our bookings for Turkey? This is my request to all Indian celebs/influencers and travellers. This is the least we can do as Indians. #BoycottTurkey,” she wrote.

The message was clear when it comes to national pride and solidarity, silence is not an option. Her call for a boycott isn’t just about travel, it’s about unity, responsibility, and standing against those who support or sympathize with terrorism.

Rupali Ganguly continues to win hearts not just with her acting but with her fearless voice, echoing the sentiments of countless Indians who believe in putting the nation first.
