Veteran actor and power-packed performer Mukesh Khanna was all set to don the role of Brahmendra Swami for Sony TV’s much-anticipated big-budget show, Peshwa Bajirao. The historical is being produced by Sphere Origins and Invictus T Mediaworks.

But now, it seems that the actor has apparently rejected the offer!!

Yes, for all those who wanted to see the actor popularly known for his roles in Mahabharat, Chandrakantha and Shaktimaan in this historical, there is bad news.

News coming to us is that Mukesh Khanna has hit upon few look issues, as a result of which he has declined the offer.

When contacted, Mukesh Khanna confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, “Yes, I am not doing Sony TV’s Bajirao Peshwa. The reason being that they insisted on a beard and a top bare body look, both of the conditions I had strictly refused to do in our first round of talks. But after going through a look and costume test, they insisted that they need a ‘saadhu’ look with beard and even bare body. I told them to forget Mukesh Khanna. For saadhu roles you will get dozens, but not MK.”

Aww, this is indeed sad news!!

Let’s hope we get to see the stupendously talented actor in a meaty avatar very soon!!
