Even though it may be detoxified, a snake always instils fear especially if it's a cobra. Actor Sachin Shroff pressed the panic button while enacting a scene with a reptile in Zee TV's Naaginn.
Says Sachin, "The scene required the snake to bite me whilst I'm sleeping. However, when the moment arrived, I lost sight of the fact that it was non-poisonous and quickly took evasive action. I thought it had struck and so I yelled. However, it just hit me with its head."

Rumour has it that a petrified Sachin demanded for immediate medical attention as he feared he waould pass out. It was only after that the crew comforted him that he calmed down. The actor then vowed never to come so close to such reptiles again.
Scoffing at these tales, Sachin chides, "No, that's not true. In fact, I shot another scene with the reptile yesterday and it went smoothly. I didn't yell or make any demands. What I've learnt from this episode is that snakes never intent to harm humans but merely defend themselves."
But would you be saying the same if the cobra had left its imprint on your leg?
