Sakshi to observe her first 'vrat purnima' fast for Karan in Sony TV's Ekk Nayi Pehchaan

Love has blossomed beautifully between Sakshi (Krystle D’souza) and Karan (Karan Sharma) and soon the couple will be seen taking their marital vows and relationship quite seriously in Sony Entertainment Television’s Ekk Nayi Pehchaan (Jay and Kinnari Mehta Productions). The cause for this will come in the way of a ritual, a festival of vrat purnima a custom followed by most Gujarati families by keeping a day long fast to wish for the longevity of their husband’s life. The fast is kept in the honour of Savitri, the legendary wife who had fought to get her husband. The festival will be celebrated with much pomp in the Modi household where along with Sakshi, Sharda (Poonam Dhillon) and Latika (Ankita Bhargava) will also be fasting for their husbands. Informs a source, “The sweet moment will come when Karan too would keep a fast for Sakshi as a surprise. But Karan will get restless without food and water the whole day.” Her first fast will see Sakshi all excited and happy and she will choose the best of her saree and jewellery. She will also be seen proclaiming her love to everyone around and proudly telling them that it is her first ‘vrat’ for her husband. We tried reaching Krystle but she did not answer our calls.
