Samaira Rao to be seen in Sony TV's Crime Patrol

Samaira Rao
Talented and good-looking Samaira Rao is the next actress to be pulled into the interesting ‘episodic themes’ that have been bagging the limelight these days on television. Samaira who never had the intention of taking up episodic roles was prompted to give her nod to this ‘special’ story that came her way. Yes, loyal fans of Samaira (who was last seen in Sony TV’s Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage) can now see her playing an important part in an upcoming episode of Sony TV’s Crime Patrol, produced by Optimystix Productions. As per a source, the story will be about human-trafficking in which Samaira will be playing the role of an NGO. Says Samaira, “I am a huge fan of Crime Patrol. But I never felt that it was my cup of tea to play episodic roles, as one needs to get more realistic playing such roles. However, I got keen to play this particular episodic story in Crime Patrol as it was a very nice character. You will see me in a very realistic avatar, devoid of make-up (smiles).” The actress also adds on to say, “I was especially glad to meet and talk to the host of the show, Anup Soni. I simply like the way in which he narrates the horrendous tales with a realistic feel to it. In fact, our sets (Anup’s Balika Vadhu and Samaira’s Love Marriage) happened to be near, and we have seen each other, but had never stopped by to have a word. It was a delight talking to the great actor and anchor.” Samaira has started shoot for Crime Patrol, and her episode will be aired soon.
