Television actor Sandesh Gour, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saraswatichandra, has been hospitalized with dengue.
The Nagpur boy was shooting for crime alert show Savdhan India for Life OK, at one of Mumbai’s oldest areas – Kabutar Khana, Dadar when he felt intense back pain and headache along with high fever with later turned out to be dengue after diagnosis.
“The show was dealing with a senior citizen’s murder mystery and the script demanded real locations. Hence, I was shooting at Dadar chawl. But, after late pack-up I realised that I was running high fever (102 degrees). I could hardly walk but somehow I managed to reach a friend's place in Andheri who later rushed me to a nearby hospital.”
It was at the hospital that Sandesh learnt of dengue and later he was taken to hospital in his native place, Nagpur.
“I was admitted for two-days in Mumbai's hospital, when my dad came and shifted me to my home-town. It’s been five days since I have been bed-ridden,” added the budding actor.
Get well soon… Sandesh!!!
