Dheeraj Kumar’s Creative Eye Limited’s latest offering, Singhasan Battisi on Sony PAL has succeeded in grabbing viewers’ attention for its interesting story line, and presentation. The show which is a uniquely conceptualized mythological cum historical cum fantasy based show, has yet again become the #1 show on PAL in its second week running. The coming week will see another interesting tale of King Vikramaditya (Karan Suchak), which will put to test his grit and valour. And this story will be narrated to Raja Bhoj (Siddharth Arora) by one of the putlis (angels) guarding the throne of Vikramaditya. Entering the show as the most beautiful angel will be actress Sapna Thakur. Sapna has earlier been seen as Inspector Aastha in Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath. She has played lead roles in Punjabi movies Veera Naal Sardaari, Rahe Chardi Kala Punjab Di, Din Dahade Le Jaange. In Singhasan Battisi, she will play the angel by name Roopmati who will narrate a tale on Vikramaditya’s character to Bhoj. When contacted, Sapna told Tellychakkar.com, “It feels really good to play a pari who is the most beautiful one (smiles). Working with Creative Eye is a great opportunity, and I love playing my character.” As mentioned above, Creative Eye’s Singhasan Battisi which was the #1 on PAL in the first week continues to maintain its numero uno slot at the end of the second week too. An insider told us that the recent TAM analysis has detailed out that Singhasan Battisi has managed to strike a chord in Ahmedabad with its rating crossing a 1 TVR in the region, a feat not accomplished so far by a brand new show.
