Bidaai, Sasural Simar Ka, Santoshi Maa, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein and many more, Sara Khan is all set for her Bollywood film. The bold and beautiful actress will soon be seen in a satirical comedy that takes on adult OTT content and the society's outlook toward working women.
Titled Camp Decent, the film narrates the story of a web series director Kumar who doesn't respect working women, but learns a lesson eventually as he tries to shoot an erotic scene with his own daughter. When Kumar's financer Badri comes to get back his money, he falls in a one-sided love with his Anahita (Sara Khan)
The film also stars Brijendra Kala and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. Sara recently wrapped up shooting in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, under the direction of Sandeep Kumar Rana. Interestingly, the climax of the film is shot at river Ganga.
"My character Anahita is the soul of Kumar’s character. Whenever he commits a mistake, she reprimands him. She is his best friend. Whenever he is in trouble, he consults with her. Whenever she is in trouble, she talks to him. Through this film we want to highlight the biased attitude of the society towards woman," said Sara Khan.
The film also stars Hemant Pandey, Krishna Singh Bisht, Mahesh Sharma, Vikram Bakshi, Deepak Bangwal, Hemany Verma and Sumit Arora. Produced by UFi Productions, the film has been directed by Sandeep Kumar Rana.
