MUMBAI: Actress Sara Khan, who is popular for her role in the hit TV show Bidaai, opened up about her style and makeup secrets, and has revealed some really interesting things to a daily. Sara, who is known for her classy and effortlessly chic fashion sense, reveals a few tips that help keep her fashion and makeup game on point.

When asked about her makeup secrets, she said, "Makeup is something that is meant to enhance your features, not to make you look like something you’re not. I believe every individual is extremely beautiful in their own ways. One needs to take a look at themselves in the mirror, understand their features, and then adopt various styles of makeup accordingly."

She further adds, "When doing one’s makeup, one needs to keep it natural, that without hiding their natural beauty! The problem is, in today’s world, people use so many filters, and make themselves look completely different, and then when they look at themselves in the mirror, they lose their self-confidence. I think people, in general, need to be more confident in the natural skin. Now I’m not trying to put anyone down, but all I’m saying is that they’re just losing confidence in their real beautiful self with all these filters. So, in a world full of filters, keep it real! One needs to be thankful for what God has blessed them with, accept themselves, and then work upon enhancing their features."

Talking about achieving the perfect skin, she says, "I think to achieve great, healthy skin, one needs to stop using too many products on their skin, and take the natural route. For instance, vitamin C and E are great for one’s skin. It’s also important to keep yourself hydrated. So, all these factors help one achieve a healthy, and glowing skin which requires less makeup." When asked what her favorite makeup products are, she says, "I love blush and a tinted lip balm."

On the work front, the pretty actress is currently shooting for the television show, Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein.
