MUMBAI: Model and actor Saurabh Gumber, who has been part of shows namely Mahashakti, Chakradhari Ajay Krishna, Savdhan India, and others, has bagged Colors' Gathbandhan (Jay Mehta Productions). The show is a love story of an IAS officer and a criminal.
According to our sources, Saurabh will play lead actor Raghu's (male lead; played by Abrar Qazi) best friend's role. Shruti Sharma plays the female lead.
Raghu had financially helped his friend. He studied abroad and is now back.
We contacted Saurabh, but he remained unavailable for comment.
Saurabh has started shooting, and his entry will air soon.
