Saurabh 'Krishna' Pandey in awe of the 'muscle power display' on the sets of Karn

When we spot a heavily-built person, we tend to wonder about the days and months of hard work put in to possess so much of muscle power. But what if there are as many as three to four such physically strong men wooing you with their ‘powerful aura’ all the time? Well, this is exactly what Krishn of Sony TV’s Suryaputra Karn, Saurabh Pandey is experiencing all the time on the sets. Saurabh is simply in awe with the huge body of the three mighty men on the show, Akbar Ali who essays Ghatotkach, Vashu Chauhan who plays Barbarek and Ketan Karande who essays the role of Bheem. Says Saurabh, “Earlier, we had only Bheem on the set. But now, our show is focussing on the tracks of the strongest guys in ancient history, in Bheem, Ghatotkach and Barbarek. Nobody can stand before them, they are so amazingly huge. It is so funny that whoever stands before them will clearly go unnoticed.” Saurabh feels that the emergence of such actors with a huge physique in Indian Television is a new trend that has set in. “The very presence of such men gives a great feel, and it is nice to see that viewers are accepting such a change. This is indeed a changing trend in TV,” states the actor. Ask Saurabh whether he does not feel like following their footsteps and building more of the muscle power, and he explains, “Well, as per my character requirement, I should not be having a huge physique. As Krishna, I need to look very presentable. So I see to it that I do less of weight training, and get into the cardio exercises more. I also maintain a clean diet to keep my body toned down.” What are the tips that Saurabh has acquired from the muscled men? “Well, with such big guys around you, the topic of fitness does arise. And they keep sharing a lot of their experiences on the set. I have learnt a lot from them.” Saurabh, may you get inspired to showcase your muscle mass very soon!!
