MUMBAI: Rabb Se Hai Dua’s Mannat is learning the ropes of direction and make-up on the sets of her own show

Seerat Kapoor who is currently winning hearts in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua as Mannat has been making smart use of her time on the sets to learn new skills and develop herself into a well-rounded professional in the entertainment industry. The talented actor has been taking a keen interest in learning the art of direction where she sits behind the monitor, and talks about angles and lighting with her director and DoP team. Through this process, she not only delves into several areas of a show’s making but also gains a solid understanding of the technical aspects. It seems Seerat has aspirations to turn director one day!

Beyond direction, Seerat has become everyone's helping hand on the set. She even assists the hair and makeup artists whenever she gets time. As Seerat continues to expand her skills, the whole team appreciates her willingness to go above and beyond, contributing to the overall success of the show.

Seerat said, “As an actor, I have always been intrigued by what really goes on behind the camera lens. On the sets of Rabb Se Hai Dua, I got that opportunity. Looking at the monitor is fascinating because it gives a different perspective of things and characters. Learning the skills of a director also helps me improve my acting skills. More than anything, it makes me more appreciative of the sheer effort that the direction teams put in to get every single scene right. This experience has not only broadened my understanding of filmmaking but also deepened my respect for the entire crew, inspiring me to continue exploring different facets of the industry.”

While Seerat is learning these new skills on the sets of Rabb Se Hai Dua, in recent episodes, viewers saw how her character Mannat went against her own family, and ran away with Farhaan (Aarav Malhotra), to realize later that he was with her only for her money and jewellery. On the other hand, Subhaan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Ibaadat (Yesha Rughani) are desperately trying to find her to bring her back home. It will be interesting to watch how Ibaadat will be torn between her love for Subhaan and proving to the family that her intentions were pure when she lied to Mannat during the nikah.
