Not just the title but the format and launch date are also going in for a change. The format will see some major changes since Shakeel was earlier supposed to be the main element in the format. As reported earlier by Tellychakkar, Shakeel as well as other Pakistani artistes have flown back to Pakistan and will not return to India. So all the shows that had Pakistani artistes had to get innovative. Shakeel Made In China, a show that is yet to launch, too had to find a solution to overcome this sudden crisis. A source reveals, “Shakeel Made In China will now be called Comedy Circus - Chinchpokli to China. The format will see some major changes. The creative team is planning not to have any anchor in the show as against the earlier format where Shakeel was slated to be the anchor. It also had a segment called Izzat where Shakeel had a pivotal role to play. This segment has now been cancelled. Other segments that had Shakeel’s role in it are still being worked upon. The launch date has been postponed from December 6 to January 3.” Producer Vipul Shah did not wish to comment.
