Shakku Rana to play Ravan's brother in Zee TV's Ramayan

Zee TV’s Ramayan (Sagar Pictures) will see some fresh blood. Shakku Rana, who was last seen in Dwarkadheesh as Narkasur and has done episodics of Haunted Nights and Savdhan India, will be seen as Khar in the mytho show. Khar will be Ravan’s (Sachin Tyagi) cousin. Now, Khar will be shown being good friends with twin brothers Shakat and Vikat. As seen in the story, Ram (Gagan Malik) and Laxman (Neil Bhatt) have killed Shakat and Vikat. An anguished Khar will approach Ravan and complain about the killings of the brothers. Angered Ravan will ask Khar to bring Ram and Laxman in his court. This is when a fight between Khar and Ram-Laxman will begin and the drama will unfold accordingly… Shakku has already begun shooting in Baroda, Gujarat. However, his entry will be aired on 27 January 2013. “It’s a very interesting character and I am enjoying playing it,” confirmed Shakku to Tellychakkar.com.
