Shakti Anand: The new bad man

Shakti Anand who shot to fame with Balaji’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is back but this time around he’ll don the evil hat. Shakti has time and again played Mr goody-two-shoes on screen and is thus very excited to bag a negative role in Sony’s Bhaskar Bharti. He will soon be seen in this daily as Armaan’s (Aamir Ali) big brother and with his entry the show will go in for some major twists. An excited Shakti says, “As an actor I always wanted to do new roles but I was always approached to play the good boy. I was fed up of playing a positive character and wanted to enact something new. Now,for the first time I play a vicious man and am very excited. I always wanted to play a baddie at least once”. For the show, the actor has opted for a new avatar. He informs, “I wanted to look very different as I play the bad man. You can’t look sophisticated and hence I added some variations. I am sporting a new hairstyle and sometimes I even apply kajal.” Throwing light on his new role Shakti says, “I play Armaan’s elder brother and Bharti was my wife who is deceased. It’s a reincarnation sort of a thing happening here. There’s a fallout between the two brothers because of her”. The new development in the show with Shakti’s entry will cause a major upheaval in Bharti (Ragini Khanna) and Armaan’s life. Since she has no proof that she is Bharti, she will have to live with Shakti as his wife.
