Shaleen-Daljeet to marry on December 9

TellyChakkar had earlier reported that Daljeet Kaur and Shaleen Bhanot, the Nach Baliye 4 jodi will tie the knot in the first week of December. Well, they are getting married on December 9. Said an excited Daljeet, “The D-day is December 9. Before that we have all the pre-wedding functions, a three-day thing starting from November 26 at my house. It is a puja, which we are supposed to conduct before the marriage.” She added, “On December 5 there is a puja, Akhand Ramayan, at Shaleen’s house followed by sangeet, mehndi and engagement. Mehndi will be on the 7th and the engagement the following day. I will be leaving for Jabalpur on the 5th. Shaleen’s parents live there so the wedding is happening there.” The bride-in-waiting said she wants to look like a “typical Indian bride so I am not experimenting with my clothes. I will wear an authentic red lehenga designed by my designer, Bhawna. The jewellery, shoes and everything are designed by her. For my engagement, I will be wearing an emerald green Anarkali outfit with all the accessories attached to it.” She also said that the dulha will be wearing a sherwani for the wedding and a three-piece suit for the engagement. Unfortunately, the two won’t have any time to go on their honeymoon. Said Daljeet, “Shaleen is shooting for Rajshri’s show Hanso Ka Joda. He has taken 15 days leave for the wedding so as of now, there won’t be any free time to go on a honeymoon.” Well, here’s hoping the jodi dances its way to a happy, married life.
