Shaleen Malhotra and Mrunal Thakur "enjoying" working with each other in Arjun

No sooner did her debut show Khamoshiyaan went off-air, Mrunal Thakur managed to bag a role opposite Shaleen Malhotra in Star Plus’ Arjun (4 Lion Films). In the show, she will be seen as Sakshi, someone who will help the ATS team in their cases. As a matter of fact, she will be the only chirpy person in the otherwise serious ATS team. The actress has already started shooting for Arjun. As inquisitive as we always are, we got in touch with both Shaleen and Mrunal to know about their first day on shoot. And this is what this talented duo had to say. Said Shaleen of Mrunal, “She is very sweet, friendly and chirpy while at the same time she is also focused and charismatic. These qualities will help her to bring in a good chemistry with Arjun on screen.” “She is exactly opposite of what we’ve watched her as in her previous show (Khamoshiyaan). The audience will get to see the other side of her here,” he further went on to add. Mrunal on the other hand said, “I am happy to work with him and so far I have just shot a scene with Shaleen. It turned out to be very good. As a matter of fact, the entire Arjun team is a talented lot.” Mrunal is very excited about her look in the show as she went on to tell us, “My look is a lot like that of Kareena (Kapoor) in Kurbaan. And since she is my favourite actress, I simply love it. In fact at times, I feel like Kareena.” So does the actress miss Khamoshiyaan? “In the first few days, I did miss the entire team but everybody (cast and crew) over here is also very amiable. They are nice people and I enjoy working with them especially my producer Gorky sir.” Interestingly, Shaleen is a Punjabi in real life but he plays a Maharastrian on screen while Mrunal who is a Maharastrian in real life will be seen as a Punjabi girl.
