TellyChakkar was the first to report about Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s next project on Star Plus which is tentatively titled Main Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki. However, the latest news is that Shalini S Sahuta who was last seen in Flying Turtles’ Ganga Ki Dheej has been signed to play the parallel lead in the show.
Our source informs, “Shalini has been roped in to essay the parallel lead Saraswati in the show. Her character is that of a simple girl who is very attached to her values. Apart from Shalini, Sudeep Sahir has been signed to play the male lead in the show. The show is expected to go on floors soon and it will be aired after the channel’s revamp.”
