MUMBAI: 1. What does this tattoo represent and why now ?
As it says it has my mothers name Veena written along with angel wings as she is now an angel and no more with me
2. is this your first?
Yes it’s my first tattoo, I never thought I will get one as I am scared of needles and plus a permanent thing in your body you gotta be sure of what you want. However I miss my mom terrible and hence I wnated to have her with me somehow
3. how special is it to you?
As I said above it’s my way of keepin her with me all times, watching over me, remembering her for always .
4. pain was bearable ?
I opted for a procedure where I did not take any numbing creams as it would have taken a lot of time , yes it was bearable it’s nothing in comparison to what a mother goes through when she gives birth, since this is an ode to my mother pain wasn’t a concern
