MUMBAI: Shashank Vyas is a creative mind at work. The young actor has donned the hat of a poet once again, and has recited a very touching poem titled “Bas yuhin”.
The poem is about love, sorrow, heartache, and hope. In a very beautiful way, the “Balika Vadhu” actor has portrayed the feeling of all the lovers who finally gather the courage to admit their love, but get their heart broken in return. But every heartbreak leaves with a new hope of love and admiration, and that’s what the poem beautifully captures.

Shot in black and white, Shashank can be seen playing a guy, who looks madly in love, waiting for his lover to come so that he can finally say the unsaid. The “Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop" actor has earlier penned a poem on the plight on migrant labourers, which was titled "Bas chal raha hai". It was well-received by his fans and followers.

Vo subeh hi badi khaas thi, ek bechaini si ho raho thi, dil ki jo baat thi,
Baar baar ghadi dekh kar, kar rahe the unka intezaar,
Kya kahenge, kaise kahenge, kuch nahi soch, bas soch lia tha aaj karenge ijhaar,
Aankhein band, kabhi muskaan se, khud se hi baatein kie ja rahe the,
Pehli dafa mehsoon hua mano dil ek mohabbat ka samandar hai, aur hum usmein dubte hi ja rahe the,
Ghadi Milan ki aa gayi, hawaon mein khushboo chaa gayi,
Dekh kar unko bas dekhte hi reh gaye,
Leharata safed aanchal, bikhre baal, gulaabi honth aur aankhon ke kajal mein kho gaye,
Bijli badan mein daud gayi thi, dil ki baat bhi jubaan bhi aa gayi thi,
‘Main tumse’ ye keh hi raha tha ki,
Achanak usne khushi se kaha ki, pichla ek saal accha beeta, lekin mere hone wale wahi hain na,  

Islie main hamesha ke lie samandar paar ja rahi hun, aur haan khayal rakhna apna, bhul mat jana mujhe ye soch kar ki main tumse dur ja rahi hun,
Bhaari mann se muskurakar humne bhi kaha ki ‘jana hai toh phir jana toh hoga’,
‘Bhool toh shayad tum jaogi humein, kyuki akele toh hum hain, tumhare paas koi toh apna hoga,’
Vo haath milakar alvida keh kar chali gayi,
Mann mein jo chahat ki umange thi vo jaagne se pehle hi so gayi,
Phir dil ne humse pucha ki aage kya hoga,
Us naadan ko bhi samjha dia humne ye keh kar ki, kal ki shaam ke lie aaj ki shaam ko toh bhulna hoga.
