The Great Indian Laughter Challenge has got a shot in the arm with the signing of Shatrughan Sinha (fondly known as Shotgun) as judge for its upcoming fourth season. Navjot Singh Sidhu continues to remain in his post as judge.
A reliable source informs, “He figured in our plans since very long and after periodic negotiations Shatrughan has finally agreed to be on our show.”
Star India VP Marketing and Communications, Prem Kamath says, “I can neither confirm nor deny this. We’ll speak at the appropriate time.” TGILC director Pankaj Saraswat too echoed the same.

With Shatrughan at the helm, that leaves no place for Shekhar. Commenting on this our source adds, “Shekhar’s participation as judge on rival channels virtually cut his chances. Besides, it’s always difficult dealing with him.”
While it’s difficult to say whether Shatrughan will find it easy to fill in Shekhar’s shoes, there’s an SS (Shatrughan Sinha) replacing another SS (Shekhar Suman).
TGILC 4 is expected to go on air on May 10.
