MUMBAI: “The fact that Shefali (Jariwala) is no more is shattering. I am in Europe,” says the Kaanta Laga girl’s ex-husband Harmeet Singh (Of Meet Brothers) speaking from Europe to this journalist.
Harmeet further says that he and Shefali were married from 2005 to 2009. It took a while for Harmeet and Shefali to settle the dust and now Harmeet reminisces, ‘I remember having gone to Bangladesh for a show, about two-three years ago. Sunny Leone and Shefali were also there. We three came back together in a private place and Shefali and I sat next to each other. And yes, there was quite a long conversation that we had.” Added Harmeet, “Apart from that, I did meet her at a few events and parties where I remember we both wishing each other warmly.”
Meanwhile, Shefali’s funeral is underway as you read this. Yours truly was the FIRST journalist to break the unfortunate news of Shefali’s death, last night. The actress was brought dead to Bellevue Multi-speciality hospital (opposite Star Bazaar, Andheri) at about 11 am by her husband Parag and a few other people. Prior to Harmeet, Shefali dated Sidharth Shukla. Sidharth died on September 2, 2021. So far, we know that Shefali died due to a cardiac arrest.
