MUMBAI: Shefali Jariwala died on 27th June 2025 at the young age of 42 years. The actress' sudden death sent shock waves across the nation. Right after the news broke, visuals of Jariwala's husband Parag Tyagi and her mother started doing rounds on social media.
Many of Shefali's friends made sure to bid a final goodbye to the actress by attending her last rites. However, many celebrities were uncomfortable with constant coverage of the tragedy. Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan reacted to the same and posted a heartfelt message addressing the insensitivity displayed by paparazzi along with a section of media.
The Bhediya actor wrote, "Again one more passing of a soul being insensitively covered by the media. I just don't understand why do u have to cover someone's grief everyone looks so uncomfortable with this how is this benefitting anyone. My request to my friends in the media this isn't the way someone would want their final journey covered."
