MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's electrifying dance reality show, "India’s Best Dancer 3," has reached its thrilling climax, revealing the top 5 contestants who have proven their mettle. Boogie LLB, Shivanshu Soni, Samarpan Lama, Vipul Kandpal, Anjali Mamgai, and Aniket Chauhan showcased their exceptional talents, aiming to secure a coveted spot in the final five. The grand finale was graced by the dynamic and vivacious Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who took the stage to promote her upcoming film, "Sukhee." In a special episode titled "Folk Fusion," the contestants were challenged to blend traditional folk dance styles with Western dance forms.
The evening's mesmerizing performances by the top 6 contestants, infused with the essence of folk fusion, paid tribute to the joyous occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, leaving judges Sonali Bendre, Geeta Kapur, and Terence Lewis awestruck. Adding an unexpected twist to the celebration, Shilpa Shetty brought a festive vibe to the stage by introducing a spirited dhol performance. The dhol was expertly played by the talented women of the Swarangan Dhol Taasha Pathak, a 50-member group comprising housewives, women police officers, and college students. Recognizing and celebrating the success and sacrifices of these remarkable ladies, Shilpa Shetty invited Sonali Bendre, Geeta Kapur, and Terence Lewis to join her on stage, where they danced to the infectious rhythms of the dhol.
