MUMBAI :The suicide of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Vaishali Thakkar has sent shockwaves through the industry. Where on one side, celebrities are admired for their talent and good fortune of being in showbiz, the other side shows how vulnerable and fragile human beings they are, just like the rest of us. Some situations just get out of hand and no amount of fame and money can come to the rescue.
Television actress Nyrraa Banerji who shared screen space in Rakshabandhan: Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal, has shared some shocking revelations about the late actress. She said, “She told me she wanted to maybe give up acting and travel the world and do vlogging after her marriage, which was scheduled for November 20. Vaishali said, ‘I am done with the fame, work and all. Now, I want to travel the world’. She was high-spirited.”
Commenting about Vaishali’s behavior during her final days, Nyrraa said, “all a defence mechanism to keep herself happy all the time”. She adds, “No matter how long you pretend, there comes a time when you can’t do it anymore. I think that’s what happened with Vaishali. But, when you reach that point, it is essential to hold on to inner strength.”
Commenting on the great rapport that the duo shared Nyrra added, “We connected on the topic of spirituality. We used to understand each other’s body language and know when something was wrong. So, deep down, I was aware that there was something happening in her life, but did not know the details.”
Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha are arrested by the Indore police and have been booked under section 306 (Abetment of suicide) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code for abetting the suicide of Vaishali Thakkar.
