The Bindu Moving Images and Sony Entertainment Television show will soon bid goodbye to TV screens.

Starring Namik Paul and Nikita Dutta who portrayed the characters of Shravan and Suman, the series took audience by storm with their sizzling chemistry. The daily showcased an amazing bond of friendship which turned into a cute love story.

The team recently wrapped up the shoot on 2 October.

And as a mark of gratitude, Namik and Nikita shared emotional farewell messages with fans as a sign off gesture.

Here have a look:

Personally I hate writing stories as picture captions but maybe this time can be an exception. It is definitely difficult to express the infinite emotions I am going through as I spend my last few hours on the set of EDKV. Getting into sumo's shoes wasn't easy and I hope somewhere I have managed to do justice with that. But the response from each and every fan regarding this show has been tremendously overwhelming. Saying that they have been extremely supportive would be an understatement. For all those prayers during my illness and regarding the culmination of the show I am grateful for a lifetime! Of course there have been quite a few unpleasant opinions regarding me on this issue. But I guess that's the love for the show that triggered them and I still love each and every viewer irrespective! From the first shot taken at India gate to my last shot on set today, every bit of playing sumo is so close to my heart. A fabulously efficient crew is majorly responsible for bringing out this show how it has been. Have had the privilege to know some amazing people. Must admit, I am truly blessed to have got everything in the last eight months. It's been an outstanding journey and now I finally don't feel like complaining about those extra working hours and no holidays! Much love to all! Suman Tiwari signs off

Hey Shravan, I just dressed up as you for the last time. And after the last two scenes of EDKV, I might not get to play you again. And to be very honest with you, that thought crushes me quite a bit. I've spent 8 months, quite literally, in your shoes. I've laughed for you, cried for you, been angry (a LOT) for you and loved for you. I might not have been successful every time, in fact I fell flat on my face sometimes, but I tried my best, promise. Sometimes I got kinda sick of your crap, but mostly I understood. And I was always, ALWAYS, on your team. And that won't ever change. I would've loved to have left you all happy and content. I think you deserve it, because despite all the tantrums and the drinking and the misogyny, you're a great dude. At least, I think so. I'm glad Dilip sir dreamed you up! Take care of yourself. I'm glad we gave you some small measure of peace before we left. Love.
