"I play Malvika Chopra who's not only interested in the mill land but even in Uma's (Smriti) husband. Now, this is the main bone of contention in the weekend show," says Shweta. So, why has the Marathi mulgi opted for a show which is not doing too well on the TRP front? "I don't judge a show by its TRPs, the narration of the role impressed me. But above all, Smriti is a good friend, so when she offered me this role, I just had to say yes,"says the actor. The actor is quite on a high these days. First came her spectacular dance performance in Sony's Jhalak Dikhla Ja and then her negative act in Left Right Left. Revealing a peek into the upcoming show's track, Shweta says, " the second season of the show promises more drama after the World Cup. I am sure viewers will love it." Sure they will!
