MUMBAI: It is believed that our trips to holy and sacred places are never planned, but a call out from God, who makes them happen for us. The same is the case for Siddharth Arora, who plays Mahadev's role in &TV's Baal Shiv, with his recent trip to Himachal Pradesh, where he visited the breathtaking and unique Anjani Mahadev Temple. The temple, located in Solang Village, has a 20 feet tall ice Shiva Linga where a waterfall continuously showers the Shivalinga. The temple is believed to be named after Anjani, mother of Lord Hanuman, who prayed and meditated at the very place for Lord Shiva.
In awe of the mesmerizing temple visit, Siddharth Arora essaying Mahadev's character in &TV's Baal Shiv, shares, "My trip to Himachal Pradesh was an impromptu plan to explore the unexplored. It is said that sometimes we are destined to be a for a particular place. Either we travel towards that place impromptu or sent to that place. And this is what happened to me. While discovering the hills and forests, I came across the beauty of the Anjani Mahadev temple and, in an instant, decided to visit it. As I reached closer to the temple, I had goosebumps and felt a sudden rush of divinity and positivity within me. The feeling was surreal and cannot be put in words". The actor went on to add, "All this while, I had only seen such beautiful scenery as part of sets, but never seen such mesmerizing and picturesque view in reality. It was a breathtaking experience. To take blessings from the 20 feet tall Shiva Linga, I walked bare feet on slippery ice in freezing temperature. Such an intense atmosphere can be a health hazard for anyone, but with the blessings of Mahadev, I did not feel a thing. I felt divine power lifting me and taking me near the almighty. After seeing the Shiva Linga, my eyes were moist, and I can never forget the feeling. The sight is captured in my eyes forever and will cherish in my soul. The temple is must visit when you visit Manali."
