Siddharth Shukla, not Karan Wahi to play lead in Love U Zindagi

Shreya Creations’ remake of Jab We Met, Love U Zindagi has been in news for many days now, even after it was launched last weekend on Star Plus. Latest update on the show is that Siddharth Shukla will replace Karan Wahi to play the lead. A source says, “Karan had initially shown interest in doing the show, but he didn’t sign any official contract with us and things were looking dicey then. Later it didn’t work out between us and he backed out of the show. We approached few known faces and Siddharth was one of them. The channel approved of him and now he will be cast opposite Pavitra Punia. Siddharth has given his nod to us and is likely to begin shooting in the next two days.” Siddharth refused to comment about it. If everything goes well then Siddharth who was last seen in Jaane Pehchane Se Yeh Ajnabi will portray Aditya’s character which was originally played by Shahid Kapoor in the movie.
