MUMBAI: Ever since Sidharth Shukla won Bigg Boss 13, he has been very low-key about his upcoming projects. And with so many rumours floating around, the actor has asked fans to keep calm and wait for an official announcement instead. However, if a report in India Today is anything to go by, the Dil Se Dil Tak actor is all set to enter the world of OTT platforms as he has been reportedly roped in to star in the third part of one of the most popular romantic web shows of Ekta Kapoor's ALTBalaji.

The web show in question is Broken But Beautiful, which starred Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi in its first two parts. However, the TV czarina had recently taken to her social media to announce that the duo won't be a part of the show anymore. She had also ask suggestions from fans as to whom would they like to see next. Now, a source close to the show revealed to India Today that Sidharth Shukla has bagged the lead role in Broken But Beautiful season three. "Ekta wanted to cast actors who can justify the plot and appeal to the audiences in the same way that the previous leads did," said the source.
They added, "While a lot of names were thrown on the table, Sidharth Shukla has been finalised to carry on the baton. The search for the female lead is on."
