Gauri who plays Kiran in the serial was required to wear an Indian costume for a scene to which she plainly refused. She on the other hand insists on wearing only western outfits. The star is also reported to have thrown a lot of tantrums which halted the entire shoot for more than two hours. Finally the creative head of the show Mrinal had to interfere and after much cajoling and coaxing the pricey actress agreed to the requirement. Grow up Gauri or you will be out of your solo serial.
