Sofia Hayat and Rahul Mahajan's not so "welcome" rendezvous

If you have seen Rahul Mahajan’s antics on Nach Baliye 5 (Frames), then you would be wondering whether he really cares about his public image or not? Well, he certainly does for according to our source, this son of deceased BJP politician Pramod Mahajan put pressure on the creatives of his recent Life OK show Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi Ki. Why? This is what had happened. During the filming of the latest cluster of this above cookery reality show, which also included Sofia Maria Hayat, Kushal Punjabi and Delnaaz Irani apart from Rahul himself, Sofia asked Rahul who’s India’s Railway Minister and also who is called the Godfather of Indian cinema. Rahul had no clue about the answers at all. Fearing a backlash, given his family legacy, an embarrassed Rahul apparently had a big fight with the Miditech (producers) team and finally compelled them to edit out that portion. However when we called up Rahul, he said, “It is funny how come I would not know who the Railway Minister of India is given my political connections. It is a well known fact that the Congress has got this prestigious portfolio back after many years and Pawan Kumar Bansal presented this year’s rail budget. As for editing, nobody listens to nobody.” Did any such conversation happen? “I remember one but there I was denying knowledge about any name in fun. Those who have seen the show will know what I am talking about.” Rahul further added that, “this is irrelevant matter is over.” “We do several shows and move on. I have nothing against Sofia. She had tweeted something against me this morning but later she removed as she realized that the person who had spoken out against her was Kushal (Punjabi) and not me.” Sofia was very angry reading our story where Kushal had said that she does not care about India and had accidently blasted Rahul on the popular micro blogging site. She even was reported to have said, “These terrible people were on a witch hunt with me. All they did was pick on me. How dare they try to make it look like I hate India? I am so upset at this treatment. I was bullied as a kid and never thought that would happen on a TV show. I have amazing friends in the film industry but none in TV. I am truly shocked at what they said.” We tried to get in touch with Niret Alva of Miditech but he was unavailable for comment. Sofia was also out of reach for further clarifications.
