Sonali Nikam's Gudi Padwa plans

It is time for celebration!!! Today, Maharashtrians are celebrating their New Year on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. Sonali Nikam, the Marathi mulgi and the lead protagonist of Aadhe Adhoore aired on Zindagi enjoys the festivities with full go. Talking to Tellychakkar.com, the pretty lady shared her plans for the occasion, “Swagat Nav Varshache, Aasha Aakankshache, Sukh Samruddhiche, Padata Dwari Paaul Gudhiche (Usher in the new year with new hopes and desires along with prosperity for you and your family). Gudi Padwa is the day when we celebrate our new year as per the Hindu calendar. It’s a very special day for Maharashtrians and it’s almost like a family get together for us. As per the tradition we will perform the puja in the morning and hoist Gudhi which is believed to ward off evil, invite prosperity and good luck into the house. I plan to make Pooran Polis along with my mother for the occasion and will dress in traditional Navari saree.
