Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey to witness a dhamakedaar dance competition with a very special guest Vinod Thakur

Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey

MUMBAI: Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey has touched the hearts of millions and has become an audience favourite across the country because of its relatable narrative catering to three different generations. The upcoming episode brings forward a relevant storyline surrounding Sakhi (Chinmayee Salve) and the participation of two immensely talented dancers Aabha (Raksha Thakur) and Kartik (Vinod Thakur), in a dance competition.

Sakhi and Vivaan (Namit Shah) are elated to be performing at a prestigious Dance competition and representing their hometown Mumbai. However, their celebration ends quickly when their dance teacher informs them that they have been replaced by Aabha and Kartik. Sakhi feels disheartened by the whole incident and thinks that they were wronged by their teacher. However, after learning that Aabha and Kartik are disabled, the Wagle family advises Sakhi to let it go because they deserve to be in the competition. Sakhi decides to have a dance face-off with Aabha and Kartik. The couple gives a power packed and outstanding performance and wins the dance -off leaving Sakhi surprisingly  happy and proud instead of being sad and jealous. Theythank Sakhi for competing with them and letting people see that disability does not define them and they deserve a chance because of their talent alone, a true example of fairplay!

Vinod Thakur, who will be seen essaying the role of Kartik, said,“I am thrilled to be a part of this episode of Wagle Ki Duniya and showcase my talent to their diverse audience. I love the show and its light-hearted theme. With this episode, we are trying to show that dance has no barriers, and the only thing you need is the love and passion for dance. This episode brilliantly showcases that artists need to be judged based on their talent first and that creativity, hard work and passion has no set form. No physical barrier should stop anyone from pursuing what they love, and people should also let go of whatever barriers they hold in their minds for people with disabilities. Wagle Ki Duniya beautifully conveys this message with dance which is truly a unique way of expressing emotions and stories.”

Chinmayee Salvi, essaying the role of Sakhi Wagle, said,“The experience of shooting with Vinod Sir has been great as we don’t get this opportunity very often, and I am delighted to have got this chance. Both Vinod Sir and Raksha Ma’am are absolutely phenomenal dancers, so competing with them for the show was an exhilarating experience. I have seen their work before, so I was eagerly looking forward to working with them. I hope with this episode, we can show everyone talent is found in anyone and anywhere. It is the zeal and passion that counts. I hope these episodes encourage some. I am excited for everyone to see Sakhi, Aabha and Kartik’s dance-off.”
