SRK shoots with Madhubala team yet again; Pallavi Purohit on a two-month break

RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami) have been experiencing a lot of dramatic twists and turns in their lives in Colors’ Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon(Nautanki Telefilms). But now they will experience some fun moments with Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) who will be dancing on the number One, Two, Three, Four… with both RK and Madhu. As reported earlier, as part of a promotional integration of the Chennai Express team with Madhubala, SRK will be seen throwing an Eid party that will be attended by RK and Madhu. Though the Swades actor had shot for the integration episode on 29 July 2013, he couldn’t complete the sequence entirely as he had to catch a flight to London in a jiffy. But, the professional actor that he is, SRK got back on the sets yesterday (6 August 2013) to shoot with the team. Furthermore, we hear that Pallavi Purohit, better known as Madhu’s mother Padmini will not be seen in the show for a while. Why? Well, the actress is on a two month break as she wanted to give some more time to herself. When contacted, she said, “I joined the TV industry in 2006 and hadn’t taken a break since then. Hence, I thought it was the right time for me to take a break.” The production did not have an issue with the same. In fact, they supported the actress’ decision, as she stated, “My team including Saurabhji (Producer Saurabh Tewari) are very understanding. They knew I needed this break and gave it to me.” So how does she plan to use the break? “I will be attending more realistic acting workshops in Bangalore. Apart from that, I am looking out for a music teacher to teach me Carnatic music. I also plan to learn Kathak and Bharatnatyam,” she averred. Since a week, Pallavi has been on a break and already seems to be missing the sets. “I miss acting and applying make-up as I had never been on a break before, but I think I deserve this one,” Pallavi shared. So what will happen to her character in the show? The ongoing and upcoming tracks will majorly focus on RK, Madhu and Sultan. Hence, her screen presence is not required as of now but she will be back playing her role once the break ends. Enjoy your leisure time, Pallavi!!!
