Ssrirang Sharma who almost played the male lead in Balaji’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana but missed the bus will now be seen inSantaan. The actor will be playing the character of Suraj who is currently in a rehab centre as he is mentally unwell.
Elaborating on his character Ssrirang says, “I am playing the character of Suraj who is a very passionate guy, particular about his belongings and is a cleanliness freak. I am at a rehab centre where I will meet Neha (essayed by Shamin) who is Shubh’s wife on the show. Khushboo who is a VJ on B4U will play my wife. I will not be able to divulge more details as it’s only been two days that I have started shooting.”
A source from the show informs, “Ssrirang’s entry will bring in a major twist in the show. After Neha will be cured of her illness (Alzheimer’s), she will forget her past and her husband Shubh and will get closer to Suraj.”
Talking about his brief encounter with Balaji, Ssrirang says, “I was on the hoardings and was all set to play the male lead in Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana but at the nth hour Balaji decided to replace me for reasons best known to them though the channel was very keen on having me on the show. Balaji then offered me the parallel lead in their upcoming show Kitaani Mohabbat Hai but I refused. I am very thankful to Star Plus for promoting me so well and offering me a great role in Santaan.”
Ssrirang’s entry will be aired this week.
