Star Plus' Meri Bhabhi to end on a happy note; cast shoots for the last episode today

The popular show Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon ki Chaabi…Meri Bhabhi (DJ’s A Creative Unit) will air its last episode this Saturday (12 April). And thankfully the fans of the show will get to rejoice as the climax is going to be a happy one. In the coming episode, viewers will get to see Kittu (Esha Kansara) having an accident wherein her dupatta will catch fire while performing household kitchen chores. And saving her from this fatal incident will be her nanad, Shraddha (Kanchi Kaul). And this will act as an eye opener for Kamini (Swetha Gulati) who will realise how much Shraddha cares for her daughter Kittu. She will at the end seek forgiveness from Shraddha and accept her whole heartedly as her daughter-in-law. That would end the show with the entire family coming together as one. Interestingly, the last episode is being canned today (10 April) and the set is hustling with the cast and crew catching up for the very last time. We spoke to the show’s lead Kanchi, who quipped, “Nobody seems to be in a working mood today and we are all just sitting in each other’s vanity and spending more and more time. The journey has been an immensely enjoyable one and the entire team has been very supportive. I am sure in the evening when we pack up, lot of tears will flow.” We also called up producer Tony Singh who averred, “The show has received a really positive response from everyone and we are really satisfied with the journey. Getting to make a show on Star Plus’ mantra ‘Nayi Soch’ has been challenging and we are glad we could shape up the show accordingly. It has been a great time shooting with the team. Although it hurts when your show ends, it’s time to move on and bring another interesting concept for our viewers soon.” We wish everyone associated with the team great success. Ek Hasina Thi replaces Meri Bhabhi from 14 April at the 8pm slot.
