MUMBAI : Kashish Duggal has been seen in a wide range of shows on television. She has been a part of Suhaagan on Colors and was last seen in Aangan Aapno Kaa on Sony SAB.
She has also been a part of projects in the likes of Vishkanya, Sufiana Pyaar Mera, and Lockdown Ki Love Story. In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Kashish shed light on her experience being a part of the industry.
Kashish spoke about the heavy sarees and jewellery that actors are required to wear during sequences along with facing non-payment of dues.
Putting a general perspective, Kashish shared, “For Aangan Aapno Kaa, I wore a 30 kg lehenga with heavy jewellery. Sometimes it gets very difficult as it causes irritation. So there are times when you discuss if there could be a scene where the character is angry and she throws the jewellery. We have quite some discussions on this (laughs). I have worked with Sphere Origins, Shakuntalam Films and quite some other production houses. I would love to work with Rajan Shahi too.
I would love to be a part of a show which showcases a love story of a middle aged person who has challenges in life and how she takes things in her own stride.”
Finally bidding adieu, Kashish mentioned about facing payment delays.
She shared, “I have faced this and I think it has become a trend. This often happens when the show is going off-air unexpectedly. Like everyone, we too plan our investments. And it is because of this that we even suffer losses. I have suffered a loss of almost 30 percent of my income for a project and you don’t get it back.”
