Tall and elegant Sumana Das, the find of Ekta Kapoor who played lead in Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai stands on the threshold of entering her marital life!! The girl who has acted in shows like Bairi Piya and Savitri has found her soul mate in Sumit Goradia, who is a choreographer and director by profession. The duo will be getting married on 23 April 2014, at the Gorgaon Sports Club. Sumana (a Bengali) and Sumit (Gujarati) will go through a Bengali wedding, followed by a reception. But little were we aware of a love story that started at The New Talent Awards 2010, a presentation of Tellychakkar.com to honour and reward the excellence in television, till the time we spoke to the bride-to-be Sumana. Says Sumana, “In 2010, I was to perform for New Talent Awards and that is when I met my husband-to-be, Sumit Goradia. He was choreographing my dance performance, and the moment we met, we hit a great chord.” How sweet!!! For the uninitiated, Sumit Goradia was then assisting ace choreographer, Pony Verma. Sumit has gone on to direct the Season 4 and 5 of Bigg Boss on Colors. He has also directed few music videos. The man will soon come up with his directorial debut in an upcoming Bollywood movie. Talking more about her love life, Sumana states, “Our love-life saw a great phase ever since we met and got to know each other. We decided to get married a year back. It was not a problem convincing our parents; they accepted our relationship immediately. Every one of us is happy today, as we will be getting into a nuptial knot soon.” Sumana will take a break of nearly 2-3 months post her marriage to make a comeback on television. “I was last seen in Savitri on Life OK. However I have been doing episodics on TV. Post marriage, I will concentrate on my new life for few months. I plan to surely come back to television.
