Sunny Leone was the major reason for me taking up Splitsvilla - Shravan Reddy

Shravan Reddy
The very good looking and cute Shravan Reddy who went into a sabbatical after his injury, is back once again scorching your TV screens with his performance in the reality show MTV Splitsvilla 7 (Colosceum Media). With the guy becoming the first king in the show last weekend, we spoke to him about the show, host Sunny Leone, his friends-foes and a lot more. “I was initially quite apprehensive in the show and actually took some time to open up. I am a bit guarded and a cautious kind of a person, and I was also worried about the kind of language being used in the show. It was weird coping up with the reality stuff, but then I just went with the flow and got eased. But overall it has been a great experience in the show,” he shared. So has he found any change in himself post the show? “More than any change I am happy that I stood my ground and returned as the same person. I got to test my perseverance and patience and although all of this was new to me I managed to give my best,” replied Shravan. With the show being quite popular, what made him doubtful of taking the project? “I am not basically a follower of shows. And I always had this impression that reality shows are rigged. But only when I participated, I got to know it’s not fixed but the creatives are smart enough to throw such challenges that you end up reacting in a spontaneous way.” Shravan then went on to share that it was Sunny who holds an important part in his decision to come onboard. “When I was offered the show and I got to know Sunny will be hosting it, I knew she would rake in a lot more viewers. She is a well known face and can cut all boundaries. The extra exposure this season’s contestants would get will be definitely because of Sunny,” he smiled to say. So how was it interacting with the sexy diva? “She is a very down to earth human being and quite approachable. Although she is hot and sexy she is a sweet person in real life and a very hard working professional. It was great to be associated with her and hang out in the show with her.” So what lessons can he now give to future prospective contestants in the show? “I would say be spontaneous, take time before judging a person, understand who to connect and most importantly keep your connections alive throughout.” Talking about the challenges in the show, he said, “There were quite a many but I don’t speak much and that actually caused a barrier. But thankfully I was good at the tasks and that got me strong in the show. The tasks were very tough and it just went tougher and tougher but I got to push myself beyond my capabilities.” We asked Shravan who is all set for his comeback that whether this show would help him. “It’s too early to understand how I managed to fare in the show (laughs). However, I am really happy to have done the show and the am satisfied that all the struggles I underwent in the show did not change me as a person. Right now I am keeping calm and enjoying the show and waiting for some good offers to come my way,” he concluded. We are sure they are coming, Shravan!
