Surbhi Tiwari says, Amarnath Yatra was scary

Surbhi Tiwari is using her break post Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli in a spiritual way and has been away with her mother visiting various temples. Talking about her spiritual journey, Surbhi says, “We have just returned from Tirupati Balaji. I had to shoot a commercial ad in Chennai, and decided to mix work with devotion on the way back. These sojourns help to connect with my internal self and God. Having said this, in today’s age, most of the religious places have become rampant commercial centres.” Talking about the other pilgrimage places she visited recently, Surbhi adds, “After Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli wrapped up, I undertook the Amarnath Yatra along with my mom. It was a very risky climb to the holy cave. We did not walk the entire path and used the chopper ride. It was really scary. My mom wanted to go to Kailash Mansarovar, which is an even more difficult trek in Tibet, but I do not plan to take her. Amarnath has scared me enough (smiles). We had also been to the nearby Hindu pilgrimage centres like Char Dham, Vaishnodevi and many others.” Surbhi, you are indeed blessed to visit such holy places..
