MUMBAI: A lot of television celebrities have openly spoken about their love life making people believe that such love stories do exist in real life as well.

The love stories of some popular television couples are so beautiful and dreamy that fans remember all the time.

Barun Sobti and Pashmeen's love story is no less than a fairytale.

The duo's romance started when they were in their school. Pashmeen used to study in an all-girls school before she joined the co-ed institution where Barun was already studying. Barun and Pashmeen met for the first time when they were in their ninth grade.

Pashmeen was among the most desirable girls in the school and Barun used to find excuses to talk to her back then.

The actor is extremely romantic in real life and used to write poems to impress Pashmeen.

Barun managed to impress Pashmeen and they soon became good friends. The duo also started going on dates occasionally.

Pashmeen and Barun realised their love for each other when the former flew off to Australia for her graduation. The duo decided to take their relationship to next level.

Both Barun and Pashmeen acted mature and decided to let the feeling blossom despite the long distance. They continued dating and had a long-distance relationship for five years despite both living on different continents. 

Pashmeen and Barun continued to meet at intervals. In one of his visits to Australia, Barun and Pashmeen decided to go for dinner. Both ordered food for themselves but when the food reached their table, Barun didn't like what he had ordered for himself.

Pashmeen noticed the reaction on Barun's face and what happened next was extremely cute. She exchanged her plate with his. Barun was touched by the loving gesture and made up his mind to propose to Pashmeen for marriage without any delay.

Barun proposed to Pashmeen, and without any delay, Pashmeen said yes.

The couple walked down the aisle on 12th December 2010, with only close friends and family in attendance. The wedding was held in a Gurudwara as per the Punjabi rituals.

The beautiful couple is blessed with a baby girl (2019) whom they have named Sifat.

On the work front, Barun has appeared in shows like Shraddha, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3. He has also done a few movies.
