MUMBAI: Naagin 5 has been wooing the viewers with its gripping storytelling and magical characters. The recent episodes showcased how Veer played by Sharad Malhotra killed Jay essayed by Mohit Sehgal just as Jay and Bani aka Surbhi Chandana realize that they were reborn in Kalyug to fulfill their unrequited love story. Another twist in the tale follows as actor Swarda Thigale will enter Naagin 5 as the mysterious character, Mayuri. She is an epitome of beauty and is ready to slay anyone that comes her way. Her beauty is her ammunition and she can shapeshift into a peacock.
Excited about play the character, Swarda said, "To be a part of Naagin 5 is a dream come true for me. I always thought about being a part of a fantasy fiction show and I am very excited about playing Mayuri as it is the first time I am playing an antagonist. The also very interesting part about the character is that she is confident, beautiful, sassy, and extremely mystical as a peacock. It will be interesting to see how she will bring a major plot twist into the show and heighten the intrigue levels. I am incredibly grateful to the makers for trusting me with such an important character, as my pasts have all been protagonists. I am excited about my journey as an antagonist”
