MUMBAI: We are back with an interesting update from your favourite show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV and Neela Telefilms).

Everyone knows that Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) is smitten with Babita. When the Gokuldham Society members left for their Singapore trip, Iyer could not go with them and this made Jethalal extremely happy.

In his attempt to impress Babita, he told all of them that he is not scared of snakes. In fact, as a child, he used to touch wild snakes and even played with them. And they all decided to check his claim. When they all visited the zoo in Singapore, they went to a snake enclosure where anyone could drape a python over their shoulder for a photograph. Everyone egged Jethalal on to take a snake on his shoulder. Poor Jethalal was in a fix because he is actually scared of the reptile.

However, he eventually took it up as a challenge because he did not want to show himself down in front of Babita.

‘I was a little wary initially, but then I draped it over my shoulder and had a picture clicked,’ laughs Dilip Joshi.
