MUMBAI: Delhi boy Mohit Malhotra was a little bored sitting at home because of the lockdown. But now that things are slowly opening up, and the weather Gods showed a little mercy, he jumped at the opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal at Connaught Place, or better to say satisfy his Tacos craving.
He says it was a different feeling, especially seeing very few “masked” people at one of the most crowded places of the capital.
“It felt good to finally step out. The experience was different – I had my mask on most of the time, except when I was eating. CP felt completely different with just some masked people around. Masks and hand sanitizer, I feel, have become as important as wallets and mobile phones. I was craving tacos, so when I finally had them, I really enjoyed them," he said.

Mohit, a self-confessed rain lover, also spoke about his love for street food and shared he used to have chaat-papdi when it rained, but now because of the pandemic situation, he enjoys the weather with his family in their garden. He added, “My mom and I have been craving Dilli wala street food since the monsoon started, so we recently ordered tikki-chhole."
Talking about the work front, the “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" actor revealed that he is in talks with a few people and will leave for Mumbai once things get finalised. "I understand there's a lot of fear, and people might not feel safe on the set. But I think as long as we follow all precautions, we can do this. The economy has to get back on track and people need to go back to work," Mohit signed off.
